Design and manufacture of the Middle Focus wall (MFW) and the Experimental Cave for the instrument ESTIA (Figure 1). ESTIA is a neutron reflectometer designed and built by the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) in Switzerland for the European Spallation Source (ESS). Both MFW and Experimental Cave structures have the primary function to block ionising radiation. The MFW is a separation wall located roughly halfway along the instrument and incorporates the instrument shutter. On the other hand, the Experimental Cave is located at the very end of the instrument and consists of the cave walls, the roof including a sliding door and additional shielding elements. Part of the scope here described is also the false and precision floors and the local crane located inside the Experimental Cave
