[3611] Ultra High Bandwidth Oscilloscope

An Ultra High Bandwidth Oscilloscope (UHBO here after) is needed in the ASD to face the upcoming important technical and scientific challenges. This instrument should have a bandwidth above 10GHz, a corresponding capability of resolving pulses as short as 30ps FWHM, with a single sample-rate of at least 50Gigasamples/second. The instrument should offer at least two independent channels/inputs with the aforementioned characteristics, with ultra-low noise and at least 10 bit resolution. Moreover it should include advanced measurement and analysis capabilities and offer a fully remote control and data storage.
