A Call for Tender for the supply of two vacuum-compatible sCMOS cameras for X-ray spectroscopy will be issued. These detectors will be operated at the ESRF ID32 beamline to detect X-rays in the energy range 300 eV - 1.8 keV in single-photon counting mode. The detectors will be installed at a grazing incidence of 20-25˚ w.r.t. to the incident beam, bolt onto a DN160CF flange preferably, in a vacuum of the order 10-8 – 10-9 mbar. An upper limit at 3 10-7 mbar would be tolerated. The unshadowed field of view should be larger than 21x21 mm2 with a pixel size not exceeding 13.5 micron (6.5 micron strongly preferred). The camera should be water cooled down to operating temperatures below -30˚C with the possibility of switching off the fan if present for safety. A Quantum Efficiency (QE) larger than 80% (300 eV- 1000 eV) will be required, with low readout noise (< 3 e- rms) and dark current (< 1e-/p/s) at frame rates > 10 Hz with a 16-bit depth, with triggering and synchronization capabilities.
