The RF Windows shall be made from alumina with purity > 97%. It shall be clamped between two flanges and conform to the WR2300 HH waveguide standard as specified in the drawing in Annex 1. Metallic parts of the flange exposed to RF shall be copper plated with 20-40 μm copper layer. Bending strength of the alumina shall be better than 350 MPa. Thermal conductivity at 20°C shall be better 34.5 W/(m*K). The RF window shall be able to withstand pressure spikes up to 2 bar without any damage. The supplier shall provide a handling procedure to be followed during the installation for the tests. The RF Window shall be water cooled with maximum pressure drop of 1 bar, for a maximum flow rate of 1 m3/h. Water temperature during operation is equal to 30±5°C. Cooling channels shall be tested at 10 bar pressure in static conditions.
