26-17 Purchase of Infrared Spectrometer for hATR-IR

This tender concerns the acquisition of a new infrared spectrometer to be used on the neutron reflectometers for in-situ measurements, and in the PSCM labs for ATR-IR measurements. Description of the main features The features of the new equipment are here divided into essential and recommended. 2.1 List of essential features for the equipment • Spectral range: 7800-350 cm-1 • External beam output and external detector module • Spectral Resolution: 0.5 cm-1 • Wavenumber precision: 0.01cm-1 • KBr (or ZnSe) beam splitter • LN2 cooled MCT detector • Interchangeable beamsplitters and detectors • Compatible with Thermo Scientific, SPECAC/Harrick and Pike Accessories • A purge cover and breadboard for lab bench assembly of accessories. • Base spectrometer weight: Less than 35 kg • Base Spectrometer dimensions: 50 cm by 50 cm by 30 cm (no larger than) • Remote connection possible • User graphical interface software capable of: o Data acquisition and data processing o Automation tools (macros, kinetic experiments etc) o Spectral processing (peak tracking, integration, baseline correction, normalization) o Management of multiple configurations o Easy to export to standard formats (ASCII, CSV) and compatible with python
