[240] Remote Clamp

Supply and Service Agreement for detail design, manufacturing, testing and delivery of a remote clamp which is used to connect two sections of the proton beam vacuum pipe. The clamp will be mechanically remote operated from above the shielding blocks for the potential maintenance/replacement of the vacuum. The remote clamp assembly includes flanges, seals, guidingfunnel, pipe sections, bellow and an operating rod. A Factory acceptance test, Pressure test and a Vacuum test needs to be performed and should pass the criteria’s which will be stated.
