CERN intends to place a Contract for the design, manufacturing, dismantling, installation and
commissioning of ten personnel lifts. The Supply will also include the preventive and corrective maintenance.
The Supply shall include the following deliverables and activities:
Design of the lift, production of design files and of the technical documentation;
Purchasing of raw materials and commercial parts;
Manufacturing and testing;
Packing of the Supply;
Shipping to CERN, if so requested;
Transport of all materials and tooling required for the proper installation, commissioning and
maintenance on the CERN site;
Dismantling of existing lifts;
Waste sorting and evacuation;
Installation on the CERN site of personnel lifts and their guiding rails;
Replacement of lighting and non-structural civil works;
Commissioning;
Testing;
Training of maintenance personnel;
Preventive and corrective maintenance until the end of the warranty period of the last lift supplied
