This involves manufacturing 2 (+1 optional) new lower pipes in aluminum alloy, in accordance with CODAP 2020 construction category A and according to the plan :  lower part in aluminum alloy AlMg3, which receives the fuel or the pilot bar and cools them, with a height of 3275mm, consisting of: o several shells (depending on production capacity) with an internal diameter of 424mm, thickness 30mm  2 junction flanges with the cask valve and the upper pipe: square section 750 x 640, thickness 45mm, and circular section  2 tapping flanges internal diameter 150mm, thickness 15mm, length 522mm from the axis of the shells, and flanges external diameter 285mm, thickness 67mm o 1 external diameter 25mm connection welded to a « CEA » coupling (exchanger purge line)  20 « A5 » seals, material 1050A according to plan 7C 51 P2 012 The material supply will be the responsibility of the supplier: aluminum EN AW-5754. The material will be supplied according to the harmonized standard for pressure equipment NF EN 12392 or other upon acceptance by the ILL, supplemented by the requirements of CODAP. The materials must be accompanied by a material certificate 3.1. The supply must be sufficient to produce the test welds. The tapping flanges will be made seamless as far as possible, from rough forged pieces or bars. For the largest shells, welded rolled cylinders can be made (a longitudinal weld) or the forming of 2 half-cylinders to be welded, or any other process (cored forged bar, rough forged pieces, etc.), explained in the technical proposal. Preference will be given to processes that do not induce longitudinal welding. Test welds must be made, and the welds will be checked at 100% volume and surface. In the case of an ESPN, the manufacture will be monitored by an authorized organization which will carry out a conformity assessment including a test at 6 bars, dimensional and visual checks, documentary checks, etc. Leak test must also be carried out. at < 10-6
